Flow sensor AWM720P1
Donglong Electronics professional agent Honeywell air mass flow sensor
The air mass flow sensor has a thin film composed of a heater and a temperature-sensitive element, and an insulated bridge structure. The electric bridge structure has a sensitive and rapid response to the flow of air or other gas flowing through the chip.
Power supply voltage: 8Vdc to 15Vdc
Working temperature: -25 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius (-13F-185F)
Media compatibility: limited to dry gas
AWM2000 series micro-bridge air mass flow sensor is a passive device, composed of two Wheatstone bridges, and has the ability of two-way sensing. According to the technical requirements, a heater control circuit and a sensing circuit are required to work Bridge feeder circuit. These two circuits are not included in the sensor, and need to be designed by the user. The differential amplifier is a useful interface for the sensing bridge. It can be used to introduce gain and voltage compensation to the sensor output.
Signal conditioning: non-amplified (output -44,5mVdc to 44,5mVdc)
Pressure hole type: straight-through type
Sensor resistance: 5K Euro
Flow/pressure range Reference model

+-4.0 inch water column (10 mBar) AWM2200V
+-1000 sccm (1 SLPM) (1 standard liter per minute) AWM2300V
The AWM3000 series, like the 2000 series, is a dual-Whiston bridge to control the air flow measurement. The AWM3000 series is an amplified type, so it can be used to increase the gain of the sensor output and introduce voltage compensation. The heater control circuit and the sensor bridge feed circuit are integrated in the sensor.
Signal conditioning: amplified (output 1 Vdc to 5 Vdc)
Pressure hole type: straight-through type

The AWM40000 series micro-bridge air mass flow sensor works according to the principle of heat transfer. The mass air flow traverses the surface of the sensor element. The output voltage varies in proportion to the mass flow of air or other gas through the sensor inlet and outlet. The specially designed housing accurately guides and controls the air flow across the microstructured sensing element. The mechanical design of the component makes it easy to install on the printed circuit board.
The micro-bridge type air mass flow sensor contains a unique silicon chip with advanced microstructure technology. It contains a thin film consisting of a heater and temperature-sensitive elements, and a thermally insulated bridge structure. The bridge structure has a sensitive and rapid response to the flow of air or other gas flowing through the chip. The dual sensor elements positioned on both sides of the central heating element indicate the flow direction and flow rate (quantity). Thick and fine-tuned thin film and thin film resistors make one device compatible with the next.
The AWM40000 series is centrally installed with multi-channel measurement design. The high common mode pressure (ceramic tube type) and wide operating temperature range (125 degrees for non-amplified type) expand the application range.

AWM5000 series-high flow
The AWM5000 series micro-bridge type air mass flow sensor has a housing that provides a venturi-type flow method. This type of sensor measures flow rates up to 20 standard liters per minute (SLPM), while producing only a slight pressure drop of up to 2.25 inches of water. The micro-bridge chip is in direct contact with the airflow. This greatly reduces the possibility of (measured) errors due to clogged orifice or bypass channels.
The solid plastic component design can withstand common mode pressures up to 50 psi, and the small sensing element allows an impact force of 100 q without affecting its performance. The included "AMP" compatible connectors provide reliable connections in demanding applications.
Each AWM5000 sensor contains circuits for amplification, linearization, temperature compensation, and gas calibration. A linear output of 1 to 5 Vdc can be used for all sensors listed in the table, regardless of the flow range (5, 10, 15 or 20 SLPM) or calibration gas (ammonia, carbon dioxide, imine oxide or argon). All the calibration is laser calibration, which greatly enhances the consistency of the device.
Signal Conditioning: Amplified (1 Vdc to 5 Vdc)
Pressure hole form: threaded connection, 1/4 degree NPT

Pin 2 ground
Pin 3 is not connected
Pin 4 output voltage

AWM700-type components are compact and have the ability to measure high flow ranges.
